Connecting Your CorrigoPro Account
This guide walks you through connecting CorrigoPro through Makini Link, so your work orders can be brought across automatically. There are two ways to connect. Read the next section first to pick the one that fits, then follow that set of steps.
Which way should you connect?#
User account: you enter a CorrigoPro username and password, and that's it. Takes about two minutes. Nothing needs to be set up on the CorrigoPro side first.Direct API: CorrigoPro's official connection method. It's more reliable and doesn't depend on any one person's login, but you need admin rights in CorrigoPro and a membership level that includes integration. Takes about 15 minutes. If you can use Direct API, use it. Go to the user account method if you don't have admin rights, if your membership doesn't include integration yet, or if you want to get started today and switch later. Switching later is straightforward and doesn't affect anything already set up.
Option A: Connect with a user account#
Step 1: Decide which account to use#
Use a shared company account, not your personal one. Everything the connection does in CorrigoPro, such as accepting work orders, updating them and submitting invoices, happens under the account you enter here. Whoever's login is used will appear as the person who took every one of those actions. That matters for two reasons. Your own activity and the connection's activity get mixed together in CorrigoPro's history, so it's hard to tell what you did from what happened automatically. And if that person leaves the company or their account is disabled, the connection stops working. If you don't already have a shared account for this, create one in CorrigoPro before continuing. Something like "Integration" or "Dispatch System" makes it obvious to your team what it is.Step 2: Enter your credentials#
Choose User account as the connection method, then enter the username and password for the account from Step 1. Nothing else is needed.Keeping it working#
The connection breaks if that account's password is changed or the account is disabled. If the password changes, enter the new one on the connection. If your company later turns on password expiry or multi-factor authentication for that account, the connection will stop working and you'll need to move to Direct API instead.
Option B: Connect with Direct API#
You'll need admin rights in CorrigoPro for this. Here's the full setup.Step 1: Check that integration is available to you#
1.
Log in to the CorrigoPro Desktop application at desktop.corrigopro.com.
2.
Look for the CorrigoPro Direct panel on the home page.
If you don't see it, one of two things is true:You don't have admin rights. Ask whoever manages CorrigoPro at your company to either grant them or do this setup for you.
Your membership level doesn't include integration. The panel will say so if this is the case. You can upgrade from the Membership page, or use the Contact Us form on CorrigoPro Desktop to ask their support team which applies to you.
Step 2: Turn on integration#
On the CorrigoPro Direct panel, switch the Integration toggle to ON. A settings page opens.Step 3: Generate your credentials#
1.
On that settings page, click Regenerate.
2.
CorrigoPro produces two values: a client ID and a client secret.
3.
Copy both. Paste them somewhere safe for a moment; a password manager is best.
Treat the secret like a password. Anyone who has it can act on your CorrigoPro account. Don't email it, don't put it in a chat message, don't save it in a shared document. You can click Regenerate again at any time if you think the credentials have been exposed. Be aware that doing so immediately breaks any existing connection using the old ones, so you'd need to enter the new values afterwards.Step 4: Enter your credentials#
Choose Direct API as the connection method, then paste in the client ID and client secret from Step 3.Keeping it working#
Direct API credentials don't expire and aren't tied to any individual, so the connection keeps working through staff changes and password resets. The two things that break it are clicking Regenerate in CorrigoPro, and switching the Integration toggle off.
If something goes wrong#
The connection failed.
For a user account, confirm you can log in to CorrigoPro Desktop with that same username and password. For Direct API, check that nothing was cut off when copying the client ID or secret. A trailing space is the usual culprit.I don't see the CorrigoPro Direct panel.
See Option B, Step 1. It's either admin rights or membership level. It was working, now it isn't.
For a user account, someone probably changed the password or disabled the account. For Direct API, someone probably clicked Regenerate or turned the Integration toggle off.I'm stuck.
Send us a note describing which step you're on and what you're seeing. Don't include the password or the client secret in that message. Modified at 2026-09-04 14:31:46
