Connecting UpKeep

This guide walks you through connecting your UpKeep account through Makini Link.

Set aside about 2 minutes. You'll need the email address and password of the UpKeep account the connection should use.

Before you start

Use a shared company account if you can. Makini signs in to UpKeep with the email and password you enter here. If you use your own personal login, the connection breaks whenever you change your password, and it stops working entirely if you leave the company. A dedicated account set up for integrations avoids all of that.

If you don't have one yet, ask your UpKeep administrator to create it before you continue. Make sure it can see the parts of UpKeep your team wants connected.

Step 1: Enter your credentials

In Makini Link, fill in two things:

Email: the email address the UpKeep account signs in with

Password: that account's UpKeep password

Click Connect.

Changing that account's UpKeep password: enter the new password on the connection

The account being disabled or deleted: you'll need another account, then enter its email and password on the connection

If something goes wrong

The connection failed right after I clicked Connect.

Some information is missing.

It was working, now it isn't.
