Sensus Analytics has no separate API keys. The connection signs in the same way you do in a browser, with an email and a password, and sees what that login sees.Use a shared service login if you can. If you use your own personal login, the connection breaks whenever you change your password, and it stops working entirely if you leave. A separate login set up just for this connection avoids that. Ask whoever manages Sensus Analytics users at your utility to create one.The login must be able to open Meter Insight and Alarm Insight. Sign in to Sensus Analytics in a browser with that login and check that both appear. The login must sign in with just an email and a password. The connection can't answer any extra sign-in step, such as a one-time code.
This is the address you open in your browser to use Sensus Analytics. Each utility has its own address on sensus-analytics.com, for example https://yourutility.sensus-analytics.com.Copy just that first part, starting with https:// and ending with .sensus-analytics.com. Leave off anything after it, such as /meterinsight.If your login can see more than one utility, the address decides which one is connected. To connect another utility, add a second connection with that utility's address.
Sign out, then sign in again at the address from Step 1 with the login the connection will use. Sensus Analytics asks for the email first and the password on the next screen. If that works and you can open Meter Insight and Alarm Insight, the login is ready.
